The Fast-Track, Kick-Sugar
Countdown Program™

Privacy Statement

Welcome to The Fast-Track, Kick-Sugar Countdown Program™ (the “Program”), hosted at www.fasttrackkicksugar.com (the “website”) and developed and operated by A Sweeter You LLC, a New York limited liability company d/b/a/ Stop SUGAR SHOCK! (“Stop SUGAR SHOCK”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how we collect and use information through the website.

What does the Program do?

The Program provides, over a period of ten weeks, a series of informative e-mails and tele-seminars to individuals at least twenty-one (21) years of age, who have registered with the Program (“Members”) to help such Members effectively combat their reliance on sugar and to generally improve their overall diet.

Stop SUGAR SHOCK reserves the right to change how we handle the information we collect and process through the Program at any time. We will update this Privacy Policy to reflect any changes and such changes will take effect immediately thereafter.

What type of information do we collect from you and how do we use it?

Visitors to the website may view certain content without providing us with any personally identifiable information (“PII”). Unless you provide PII to Stop SUGAR SHOCK, we will collect only anonymous and aggregate information from you. There are several ways that we may collect such anonymous and aggregate information. For starters, we collect information about your preferences in navigating the website by using cookies, action tags and other methods. Cookies are small text files that identify your computer. We may use cookies to, among other things, monitor website usage, customize website features, identify your computer’s operating system and browser, and complete transactions. An action tag is a small, graphic image on a web page that is designed to allow the website owner or a third party to monitor who is visiting a website by collecting the IP address of the computer that the tag is sent to, the URL of the webpage that the tag comes from and the time it was viewed. Such tags also may be associated with cookie information.

In order to participate in the Program, you will be required to register as a Member and, as part of this registration process, you will need to provide us with certain PII. Such required PII will include your name, address, and email address. We will also ask you to provide us with other information about your medical history/sugar-intake history/profile that together may constitute PII. Your submission of such information to us is voluntary, but the Program may be more likely to be customized to your specific needs if you provide us with such information.

We may release PII if we believe such release is necessary to comply with the law (e.g., a legal process or a statutory authorization), to apply or enforce our customer agreements, to protect our rights or property, or to protect Members and/or Visitors from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of the Services and/or the website; or if we reasonably believe that an emergency involving immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires disclosure of such PII or other information without delay.

PII will be shared with our service providers, as deemed necessary in our sole discretion, in order to facilitate the running of the Program and in order to respond to your requests.

Do I have the ability not to be identified by Stop SUGAR SHOCK?

Yes. If you do not want to be identified by us, you can set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies and refuse the cookie when your browser alerts you to its presence. You can also choose to refuse all cookies by adjusting the settings in your browser. If you do not want to us to have any of your PII, do not submit PII to the website.

How do we store information?

Stop SUGAR SHOCK takes reasonable steps consistent with industry standards to assure that PII collected at registration is secured from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and destruction in storage while under our control. If we charge you for the Program or other services or products, we will not retain credit card information provided by you after we have received authorization from your credit card company to execute your transaction. Please note that despite our efforts to protect information provided to us, we cannot guarantee that such information will not be disclosed or accessed by accidental circumstances or by the unauthorized acts of others.

Do we provide links to other websites?

Stop SUGAR SHOCK may provide links to other websites or resources of possible interest to you. Because we have no control over such websites or resources, the collection and use of your PII and other information by such websites shall be subject to the policies and procedures of such websites and not this Privacy Policy.

What are our policies regarding children?

You must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older in order to register as a Member. Stop SUGAR SHOCK will not knowingly collect PII from anyone under thirteen (13) years of age.

Do we have a mechanism to address the removal of PII and complaints about the handling of information that we collect?

If you wish to remove PII that you have submitted to Stop SUGAR SHOCK, please send us an e-mail requesting such removal to privacy@sugarshock.com. If you have questions or concerns about any of our information collection or handling practices, please contact us at privacy@sugarshock.com.
